Such difficult things
Hoarding: How Collecting Stuff Can Destroy Your Life
I am part-way between being a collector and being a hoarder. Most of the things that I started out collecting became things that I hoarded. I don't collect anymore, not stamps, coins, etc. Getting the things was hard because one spends money they don't want to spend, but getting rid of a 'collection' when it gets to be too much is every bit as hard. Saving paper because the information could be valuable 'some day' is much the same thing.

But, you know, everything can be collectible. I've collected so many things in my life that I hate to list them all. I've never collected for investment or to make money, just for the sheer joy of collecting.
