I believe

in miracles. And I've had an attraction to Padre Pio for many years, long before the Church acknowledged his sanctity.

Vince Beddia: A man of faith

I found a used book about Padre Pio in a book shop many years ago and his story caught my imagination. What was most appealing was his obedience to his superiors. God blesses those, particularly in religious life who are willing, despite their own desires, to follow closely the orders of the people God has placed in positions of leadership. I don't do well with this, so I find it appealing (in theory).

God bless this gentleman.
