...Muslim states teach and practice restrictions against, and bigotry, prejudice and violence toward, other faiths, doesn't mean that other countries should start doing that against Islam...Outrage on Swiss minaret vote, but how do Muslim states handle churches?
"Swiss minaret vote leads to Muslim anger, but the Swiss aren't alone in restricting religious freedom."The whole thing is that people are disgusted by the behaviour of these Muslim states. Other nations shouldn't be acting like them, but trying to show a completely different face, the face they'd like these states to show. To behave in other ways is just to be retaliatory and no better than they are. I would hope that we've progressed beyond the 12th Century where their cultural development ended...
