The issue of Opus Dei, like everything, has two sides. Which one is true? They both contain truths, I suspect, but it may be impossible to ever determine which one is more reliable. Until the Church changes its position on the organization from its one of support, I'm afraid that that will have to be the one to accept.

Our culture is very opposed to strictness and obedience in religious/secular life and involvement. Perhaps some people have abused their position. That doesn't make the organization bad or wrong...
