It may sound like a terrible thing

but I, for one, do not grieve when a legal decision goes against a drug company.

Drug companies are closely watching India’s drug patent case

I do cheer, however, when the 'little guy' gets a drug that can help them at a cost that they can afford.

These large corporations only get richer and richer. Strong conservative governments help them do that, with their insane believe that capitalism is God's plan for the world. Once in a while the little guy needs to win. These drug companies aren't going to go out of business because of it, they may just give their shareholders a few billion dollars less in dividends...

And isn't it good...

...to hear someone criticizing these cartels rather than just reporting on the horrific news of both the acts of terror and the results of the drugs they sell? And what they do is all in the service of the god of this world - $.

How horrible

Murder of Archbishop Duarte result of pact between rival drug lords and guerrilla movements

Cooperation by unlikely groups to murder because, ultimately, it's all about money, the god of this world, which is what they all worship. I wonder if Dante foresaw a particular level of hell for these people. I have to dig out a copy of the Inferno and find out.
