Mind you, if other public Catholic individuals took umbrage at the public display of the last acceptable prejudice, perhaps Mr. Donohue would have to be upset less frequently.

Where's the newspaper rantings about sharia laws and burkas and so on? You see them, but not as frequently. Usually only because of a specific case. It's too risky to criticize Muslims. Those criticisms are not part of the last acceptable prejudice. That's reserved for the Catholic Church.

But then again, one has to bear in mind the source - the media themselves. They haven't proven themselves to be too accurate or ethical in the recent past...
