It's a .pdf, so be prepared for that. Still, it's a good, reasoned introduction, by a scientist, to where things are right now.

I tend to lean toward being a believer, despite my looking askance at most 'miracles' that people promote. While people may argue over the shroud's creation and provenance, no one can show, using any known technique, now the image was created. That makes me lean more toward believing in the miraculous...

I have always wanted the shroud to be authentic because I like the face so much. It's almost ugly, strong, and kind. I bet it could be fierce, too. (I mention that since we're coming to the 'incident in the temple' gospel this Sunday.)

I agree. I think that this is just the way Christ may have looked, and not the blond, blue-eyed anglo we see depicted in popular (?) art.
