Man with sword killed by Scientology guard
Guard fatally shoots man armed with swords at Scientology building
Three questions: Were the guards their own Scientologists or were they contract security, do they have training with firearms, and are other private groups licensed in California to have firearms or contract people with firearms?
Now, I know that the people that they try to attract to this centre are celebrities, and everyone knows that celebrities have to be protected because they're so much more important than the average person, but I'm just wondering if there are certain laws or privileges at play that don't exist in California for the average person.
Just think, Scientologists get guns and kill people that threaten them. They say that critics have been threatening to them every time they're criticized by these critics. It makes for a scary future.
Every time a police officer kills someone people ask if there wasn't another way it could have been handles and there's an inquiry. I hope that happens here...
(Not that I don't have sympathy for both parties - the man who died and who was likely mentally ill and the man who shot him. Such a terrible thing. May God have mercy on both. May he comfort the person who had to kill the attacker...)
