In all my sickness lately, I think I forgot to mention the good fortune that SWMBO and I have had recently. She's been chosen as a representative to attend the Canadian Library Association convention this Spring. The good luck? It's in St. John's Newfoundland, somewhere where neither of us have ever been.
I have the good fortune to be able to tag along with her so we both get a nice holiday for the cost of only 1 airline ticket. There's a question as to whether her meals will be covered (how could they not be? Mine are covered when the corporation sends me to a conference.) and we're going a couple of days early in order to do the tourist thing together, but other than that it will be a fairly inexpensive holiday. I can spend the days sightseeing while she's at the conference. Nice.
