And I say that as a comic book fan. Mind you, I once interrupted a group of trekkies after we went to the first Star Trek film together. They were arguing about whether or not something could be done because of lots of different reasons (which only make sense in the imaginary world of Star Trek). It was going on a bit so I interrupted them to tell them that it was only a movie. They looked at me as if I were mad, and then said so. I guess I don't have too many problems separating reality from fiction.
