And every creature under heaven...

Unanswered Questions: Do Animals Have Afterlife Or At Least A Spiritual Aspect?

I don't think that anyone who has owned a pet (a cat, dog, horse, etc.), and really cared for and been involved with their pet, would doubt in any way that they have a spiritual aspect to their nature. Each part of God's creation has that creative spark in it, and animals are the same. More than some animals, those we call pets also boast a certain amount of intelligence and, certainly, personality. God has provided them for our pleasure and for us to be responsible for. I'm fairly certain that God has a place for them in the life after death. That's my personal opinion, but it doesn't conflict with that of other people who are intellectuals and theologians, and certainly more intelligent than myself and better placed and able to make those sorts of statements...

Who knows? All I know is God's love for us. That's enough...
