Conservative ridings benefit from Service Canada closures
They can't keep up with the claims now, and they're cutting offices that process them. I don't care about the patronage thing, that happens under any government, but what strikes me the most hard-hearted and corrupt is the closing down of the offices themselves, needed for people who have worked and paid for this insurance! It's like another tax that the government just rips off of us. Blindly following their ideology, not caring who gets hurt in the process. And what will happen with the money? Well, if they follow the precedent of the conservative politicians in Saskatchewan, they'll all get caught stealing from the public purse. But it won't matter by then because Mr. Harper will have made it illegal to criticize the ruling party in any way.
