GOP just keeps bringing the crazy The American Republican Party is just chock-full of complete loonies, and now that the tea partiers have started to have a strong effect on the party the nuttier and nuttier things are coming out.
This would be very much like prohibitin the need for the government to perform any safety inspections on, say, nuclear facilities, or, to pick something much more recent, deep sea oil rigs. It might cost those multi-billionaire energy companies a bit of money to have to prepare for those kinds of things. Of course, they'd have put in place all the necessary safety needs all on their own, just because of their love for their workers and their fellow human beings, right?
