Guilty once charged

Pakistan's blasphemy vigilantes kill exonerated man

This is the problem in these strict Muslim cultures. It doesn't matter what the law says, the extremists and fanatics will still do what they feel is necessary for them to do despite the law. They feel free to interpret anything as blasphemy, it seems, and the law has been proven to be used unfairly to settle grudges and get property, because, as we see here, it doesn't matter if you're guilty or not, you still lose.

Have mercy on him, Lord.

(I'm certainly glad that my God and His prophets and representatives are big enough to take care of themselves without the help of the little people...)
