Based on a sample of 1

I had the opportunity to use my new iPod Shuffle to help relax me to sleep on the weekend for the first time. I made the error of napping too long in the afternoon one day and just couldn't get to sleep at night. Every sound seemed to be exaggerated and bothersome. I used it, starting with 3 or 4 favourite songs from the folky days, and then into both English and Latin chant. I stayed awake only for about 10 minutes after starting. I woke up 3 hours later to the sound of chant, shut it off and went right back to sleep.

I know a sample of 1 is a bit small to suggest that research has shown that it works, but I don't care. It worked that night. Too cool! (Now I must be careful not to use it too often or I'll get so that I can't get to sleep without it!)
