Republicans: good at theatre, dreadful at governing – as we'll see tomorrow

Yesterday, actually...

"For years Republicans have shown no aptitude for running the country. Not surprising when they don't really believe in it"

The new leader of the house made one of his first public statements on the news yesterday saying that he is going to emphasize doing everything he can to block Democratic bills and to investigate Democrat's crimes and malfeasance in government. Seems like he really wants to do the best for the American people alright. I've never seen a bigger bunch of politicians who could care less for the good of the people and more for their own ideology and party hatred than these Republicans. Besides, what crimes could they find on the Dems that haven't already had Republicans jailed for?

The whole system is broken (I'm not just picking on our Southern neighbours. We're not much better up here, with our Conservative Prime Minister holding Canadians hostage with his minority government...)
