to a news program on my way to work yesterday. The article that got my attention was one about Conrad Black going back to court for an appeal of some sort, and the reporter mentioned Mr. Black living in Florida and being seen rubbing elbows with Rush Limbaugh and other high profile conservative 'names'. I just can't fathom the double standards that exist for those with money. Mr. Limbaugh, who has had his own involvement with the U.S. criminal justice system over his illegal use and purchase of narcotic drugs, has been completely rehabilitated in the eyes of his followers and has no problems at all being friendly with another convicted criminal, Mr. Black. The normal laws and societal stigmas just don't seem to exist for these people.My winter vacation with Rush Limbaugh, Conrad Black, and the Philadelphia Eagles' only gay fan.
