Yesterday, I was listening to a radio program called 'Tapestry' on CBC Radio 1 on the history of Gospel Music. The real, traditional Gospel Music, and Gospel performers. The guest was the author of People Get Ready! A New History of Black Gospel Music, Robert Darden (whose book looks like a wonderful read), and the music was beautiful and the program itself was fascinating! The history of Gospel Music is SO interesting!
(Do you know what 'Gospel Chicken' is? Bologna. Really. I didn't know that!)
