But take a moment to see how you can play pretty much anything (escept Taylor Swift songs) with these 3 chords. Just remember though, if you're going to let the guitar buck stop with you, you'll need to know this minimum of chords, you'll need to be able to put them together to make a song, and, unless everyone else sings without your lead, you should be able to remember the lyrics, too.
