Bob was a complicated person (as most of us are) whose heart was in the right place, but who ended up being 'shuddered into silence' by the cult of Scientology because of his activism, and then forced into aligning himself with the cult through legal pressure, which is nothing more than more evidence of Scientology's scurrilous and despicable nature.
God rest you, Bob, you died far too young. I hope you've found peace.
