Sometimes these Americans (and American Bishops) get my blood boiling. I guess they think people should be responsible themselves for their healthcare, and, well, if they can't afford it, well, suffering is beneficial, too. (As long as they don't have to do it. I'll bet they've got healthcare coverage...)
