Kids' author says Jesus is not God
I hope the book is for adults instead of children this time, though. He doesn't mince his words: "killing God", "a rancid and fanatical bigotry for which the only fitting word is evil". Of course, the fact that many people who have had this same sort of bigotry and hatred have had no relation to a church or God means nothing to him. I suppose he thinks those would just disappear if the ones with religious motives, involvement or history just disappeared.
Atheists can wear blinkers just as big and blinding as religious people...
