Grief

Faced with Bereavement

"How to support a friend or loved one who's grieving"
In my hospital work this is really a very big thing. One has to learn what to say, and, most importantly, what not to say. We're limited to words as, mostly, we're not friends of those grieving. Friends can do much more. Not everyone can do it as a worker or volunteer, but everyone encounters bereavement and grief in friends and family.

This is kind of a simple article, but a good introduction to the whole notion of actually learning how to be a friend to someone who is grieving...
