I think that they're right to complain. I don't think I'd go to the film myself, it's not really my brand of humour and I'd probably be disgusted by some of it, but I wonder if the gay organizations that are complaining about this film also complain about some of the very extreme gay pride celebrations that take place in North America? As I wrote the in another post, I think that they extend the stereotype of the extreme, flamboyant gay just as much or more. And then they wonder why people don't see them as normal...
