Interesting...

Sanford: 'There are moral absolutes'

I didn't see the press conference. It appears that he was quite emotional, though some of the quotes in the article seem to make it look like he's speaking in generalities, rather than of his personal experience, which smacks of trying to spread the blame around a bit. I don't know. I do know that people are sinful, and that people sin. If someone is truly repentant then forgiveness is the only proper course.

I think we're just used to politicians and preachers always having ulterior motives for doing what they do when caught doing something wrong. It's made me cynical...
