I don't know

Famed pastor predicts imminent catastrophe

"Best-selling author, Teen Challenge founder, sees 'earth-shattering calamity about to happen'"
I don't mock people, and I won't mock a preacher who started what is supposed to be a very good program to help kids in the ghettoes of huge cities with addiction problems, even if it focuses on religion to do that. He's pretty much stayed under the radar all the years while his contemporaries were shooting themselves in their collective feet. Still, I struggle with these sorts of prophetic visions. They're turned out to be incorrect to often in the past. We should all be ready all the time, because no one knows the day or hour...

(I can't help but picture him as the young Pat Boone whenever I see his name, though. I always find his actual photo jarring. That's what happens when an actor is identified so thoroughly with the part he played...)
