A Secular Franciscan looks at the world... with a more jaundiced eye than ever... and lots of ellipses for you to fill in the missing text... (with thanks to Thomas S. Klise for the title)
I have to believe it too. Around my house Dear Dan and i have a liking for clear glass cups (a good cup of tea is a joy to the eye as well as the palate) I especially like the double walled glass ones, unfortunately, the supply at Homesense dried up, and even on ebay those cost body parts. But they do keep it hotter.
I have also taken a liking for the clear glass teapots too, but they don't hold the heat as well. So I have rediscovered the tea cozy.
At work, I bring a long a small thermos, with a small bodum tea glass with it's own coaster, because you just can't get a good cuppa there, be cause the water in the coffee maker just isn't hot enough. People are entertained by this. Then they see me take my peppermill out of my lunch box.
My favourite is a clear glass mug as well. In fact, I'm using it right now. We have a set of the Bodum glass cups too. My favourite for tea is still a big Brown Betty tea pot that I bought almost twenty years ago and I still love it. SWMBO's favourite falls into the category of the cup collection. She enjoys many, though she favours a cobalt blue glass mug that I bought for her some years ago.
I really think this is true, too.
Yes, we choose to grind our pepper just as we grind our coffee beans. If you caught my post about the local people who do fair trade pepper in Costa Rica, you'll know why. If you want, I'll send you a bag of the peppercorns to try. I have never tasted anything better in the realm of black pepper, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that. Just let me know.
