is the point of taking an oath of office?Atheists want God stricken from inaugural oath
He should simply be asked 'Are you going to do the best job you can for the country?' to which he can reply 'Yes', 'Sure', 'You betcha' or whatever other positive statement he wants to make.
I really don't understand the American misinterpretation of the 'separation of church and state' in their constitution. I also don't understand how these particular Atheists are hurt by the use of the word God in the oath...
(I need to find a graphic of someone shaking their head in confusion, frustration, consternation, etc.. I need a graphic representation to convey my emotional response to these articles...)
