R.I.P. - John Mortimer

Tributes pour in as writer, wit and barrister John Mortimer dies at 85

The world will miss his wonderful talent and writing. I certainly will. Rest in peace, Mr. Mortimer.

I enjoyed his books. Some of the later ones showed him to be a man of some moral passion. (Maybe the earlier ones did too and I just didn't notice.)

And that reminds me: "Happy Birthday to SWMBO!"

Thank you, I'll pass that along.

I think the tone of his later work changed a bit. Perhaps with age and maturity that comes with it? I've been told that happens to some people. I wouldn't know, personally...
