The folks who claim allergies can stay at other places...Famed Hotel Cat Showered with Yuletide Cheer
Our city has, in recent years, passed pet licensing and control bylaws that prevent you from letting your cats out without a leash. The fines are very large (fueling the theory that it's all just a money grab), but the interesting thing is that, along with the control of the cats has come an increase in the number of mice and other rodents infesting the yards and houses in the city. Some claim that it's a corresponding increase but without hard data can't prove it. I personally feel that the two are connected. (The Municipal Scrooge wins, then loses... Bah! Humbug!)
