I don't think that it's a healthy thing for our culture. So many people say 'but look at European countries, this pornification is everywhere'. Well, yes, and I'm not sure it's good for them, either. The big difference is that, as a culture, the Americas are adolescents, and really not mature enough for any of this. But seeing as commerce drives everything and free enterprise is considered sacred, well, sex sells, so they'll continue using it to sell things and itself...
