What a difficult situation - trying to be sensitive to another people but being faithful to your own. I know that some contemporary Jewish leaders would have liked Pope Pius XII to stand up to Hitler and condemn him, or openly and publicly try to save as many Jews as he could, but it's always easy to judge from a distance. The leaders at the time praised him for his actions. Now they say he didn't do enough. It's so difficult...
