An instance where

popular piety and officialdom's rules and regulations clash...

Bid to canonize girl draws mixed reaction

I know nothing of this young woman. Like the authorities, I lend a skeptical eye toward bleeding hosts and weeping statues. That seems to be the main source of unexplained 'miracles', along with 'apparitions' of the Blessed Virgin in windows, shower floors, walls, tacos, etc.. I don't know, it seems so incredible, and somehow so pointless. Why would God choose these sorts of events to show His power and glory?

No matter the situation with Audrey, God is good and God's will and purpose will be the end goal of all of this...
