how inconsequential most of the religion news items, along with a lot of the other news items, I've blogged recently are? There seems to be a lack of reporting of anything of consequence lately. It all seems like 'filler'. I wonder if this is part of the effect blogging is having on news and the media. It's disheartening. Somehow it seems even more pointless than ever...
