Catholic conservatism and liturgical reform

Divine worship and the rise of ‘feel-good liturgy’

The interesting thing is that conservative Catholicism doesn't appear to look at liturgical reform as being necessary for the Latin Ritual, for which it was originally intended. They seem to think that it really means restoring things to the way they were prior to Vatican II. That's all that's needed for reform. 'There. All done.' I don't believe that that's what the Popes or Bishops of the Council meant, nor did, given the resulting documents, the Holy Spirit. But that's just my opinion...
