Clergy witch hunt? – Due process for accused priests is a sham, critics say
- to the point where guilt can be based on geographical certainty - the fact that the priest and the complainant were both in the same parish at the same time.
The Catholic Church is now at the point of saying that if someone is accused, they are then guilty. The Catholic Church, as an institution, has historically had a difficult time with the concept of Justice. It hasn't changed at all in that regard.
