When I was in Rome (yes, I climbed to the top of St. Peter's Basilica and have the pictures to prove it.) some 20 odd years ago, everytime you turned a corner there was another church.
Somehow I never thought of Rome as a place where one could "run out" of churches. Urban sprawl is everywhere.
