Pope John Paul II was a reconciler as well as an intelligent man. So far, it is certain that Pope Benedict XVI is truly brilliant. I hope and pray that as he grows into his role and as the Holy Spirit forms him, that his other attributes may make him as great a leader of the world's Catholics as John Paul II was. He's a smart, smart man.
