A great time, so far...

SWMBO and I started attending a music workshop put on by this fellow:

Eric Dozier

and his 'sister', Kim Pacheco. It's an intensive 2-evening, 2-day workshop that ends with a public concert. The group is called 'One World Family' and they travel the country doing this workshop and others, all around the theme of 'Gospel Music'. The workshop in our city is promoted and organized by the Ba'hai community in the city, and from his website it appears that Eric is himself Ba'hai, but that doesn't change his cultural heritage or history, nor does it change his (and his sister's) immense musical talents and skills! SWMBO and I went to the concert last year which is what prompted us to actually attend the workshop this year. So far it has really been terrific! (Mind you, I have a 3-note musical range and can't sing my way out of a wet paper bag, so I might not be the best judge of it. Still, SWMBO concurs with me...)
