Yes. Sigh. It's not even a matter of Apple changing their general policies or the way they operate. It's simply that their products are becoming popular and are more than mainstream, they're setting the standard. Bah, humbug!

I guess the anti-virus companies can start really promoting their products and generating income from Mac users now. If you're looking for a good anti-virus that's free for personal use, though, try Sophos Anti-Virus. It seems to work well and is stable as far as I can tell, and free for personal use.
