As on other occasions, people's lives may have been destroyed by being misled by these end-time pronouncements. As if financial troubles due to our dismal economy isn't enough, these end-time preachers take their follower's money and ruin their lives. In this case the money went to an incredible amount of advertising. Even my city had billboards by their church. I don't think it's such a great trade for them...
