Perhaps its why I have never liked digital watches, but never really knew why. Well, there is the fact that, for some reason, most manufacturers used to make them look as plastic and rubbery as possible. That, and that they were given away for next to nothing - or even nothing - as electronics manufacturing became more prevalent. Now that they try to make upscale digital watches, its too late. I can't get over the fact that they really are inexpensive to manufacture, so simply adding 'bling' doesn't make them more valuable or accurate...
