Despite the outrage, we should remember that, for the most part, these chemicals were used in a time before any toxic results were known. In fact, most people welcomed the use of them. Like Aspartame and other artificial sweeteners now. People want them, in fact, they demand them. The jury is still out on their safety in the long-term, though. They haven't been used long enough. Time will tell, and it will still be all our fault and no one else's. But we'll still blame the scientists...
