I'm bragging here

I was at our local vendor of Apple products this weekend as SWMBO needed to get some ink for her Xerox solid ink printer.

I love the store. I've been friends with the owner for years, since long before he started the business, and he's always been good to me, pricewise, when he can. I prefer to take my business to local shops rather than go to the big box places, save a few dollars, and have no service or support after. It's a personal preference we have to, more or less, buy local.

Anyway, while she bought her ink I played with the iPads for a while. What's the bragging point of this story? I left without buying one! Yes, my friends, I was sorely tempted by a 32Gig or 64Gig Wifi iPad, but I resisted. That's what I'm bragging about. And while there's just a small tiny part of me that is disappointed, there is more of me that feels good about living up to my decision not to buy one. There you go. It's a small thing, but every small skirmish won against my profligate ways means that the war isn't lost...

Good job! They are tempting, though...
