
Hmmmm. 1,000 people live the lifestyle so they want the law deleted from the books. I can understand the desire to have freedom to live their lifestyle, but I'm sure that many more people like to drive 100 km/hr on city streets and would like the 50 kn/hr speed limit law removed as well. It's not always good for society.
One legacy of P. E. Trudeau's Charter of Rights and Freedoms is the change of focus from the good of society to the good of the individual. Another consequence is that is has given lawyers an unending supply of very expensive work, but that's another story...
