The quiet, reticent, brilliantly funny Sgt. Dietrich has died. Thanks for so many wonderful hours of entertainment.
(It's funny. He worked in many shows and films, but the instantly recognizable reference is 'Barney Miller'. One of my favourite television sitcoms, 'Barney Miller' really was a wonderful program, one of the best television has produced. 3 seasons of it are out on DVD...)
