R.I.P. - Art Clokey

Epic Win: Gumby

Art Clokey, creator of Gumby and Pokey, et. al., as well as Davey and Goliath, and a pioneer in stop motion clay animation, died this month at 88 years of age. I spent a lot of time watching his creations when I was young. The TV station in my city (one channel, this was a l-o-o-o-n-g time ago) really liked Davey and Goliath for some reason. They showed it a lot.

Rest in peace, Mr. Clokey.
