On this date in 1941 Joan Baez was born, and in 1944 Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin was born. Keeping with the musical birthday theme, on this day was born an fellow who was a good friend at university and whom I haven't seen for many years now. He was the director of our choir, an accomplished pianist and an all-round musical whiz. Jerome, wherever you are, good bless and keep you!
