This is part of the reason why I try to shop local and stay away from 'big box' stores as much as possible. As well as all the other reasons to keep the businesses going locally, if they're going to last they treat their customers really well, and I don't mean by having the lowest price. That's not a big concern. I'd rather pay a few dollars more for all that small, local businesses have to offer than to have the money head out of the country and to be served by people who don't know the store, let alone my name...
