Stuart M. KaminskyI just learned that Mr. Kaminsky died on October 9th of this year. He was the author of some of my favourite mysteries, the Inspector Rosknikov mysteries and the Abe Lieberman series. I was always eager to read a new novel in these series, and am saddened that there won't be any more of them. The novels aren't 'action' mysteries, but thoughtful, intelligent mysteries, which was a trademark of his writing, I think.
Rest in peace, Mr. Kaminsky, Go swiftly to G-d.
